Tau Imperium Night Wasp

The Tau Imperium uses light fast ship to carry out precision raids on enemy marshaling sites, gather intelligence, and deliver commandoes. The Night Wasp is the most feared of these ships. It carries modified rail guns capable of delivering higher impact velocities of over 10 times the speed of sound.
Unique to this design is the addition of a seeking warhead to the projectile that increases the effective engagement range and accuracy of the weapons. Night wasp flotillas can engage capital ships as the drive in on the formation using superior electronic warfare and sensor suppression systems to blind and confuse hostile fire control systems.
In addition to the Heavy weapons pop up point defense guns and torpedo launchers are carried to protect the ship from incoming missiles, and fighters. The torpedoes allow the ships to launch extremely long range attacks against slow moving, moored ships or defense platforms from out side the defenders sensor range.

Notes The white and blue striping on this ship mark it as a ship operated By the Terran Alliance Executive ( T.A.E ) fleet. It is most likely a license Built version of the K'nah'Sa Yards Type IV Night wasp variant mounting Terran manufactured electronic warfare systems.
