This weapon is standard issue to all Human allied ship boar crews. It functions in an identical manner to the standard plasma rifle but is far more compact, has a shorter range, and faster firing rate than it's larger sister.

The Ppz-9 is loaded through the pistol grip with feul pellets and through an under barrel chamber for the power cell. the power cell holds enough electricity to fire the weapon one hundred times, and the magazine holds 30 fuel pellets.

the Ppz is proffered by both ship security, station personnel and police units due to it's high trauma inducing abilities and lack of overpentration.
