Mohljaniir Evacuation Escort

During the final Stages of the War against the Najuhlim the Mohljaniir main fleets were overcome by massive waves of Najuhlim Zealot fleets which swarmed out of bases deep inside of the Najuhlim home systems.
Despite horrendous casualties inflicted on The Zealot fleets the Mohljaniir ships were too few in number to hold back the wave attacks and Najuhlim assault groups penetrated deep into the outer colonies of the Mohljaniir worlds.

Unlike previous assaults by the Najuhlim High Command the zealots did not simply invade and seize Mohljaniir worlds. They began a systematic genocide of all Mohljaniir worlds, and slaughter of any force allied to the Mohljaniir.
In three years the Najuhlim exterminated fourteen Billion Mohljaniir and allied races, rendering extinct The K'hohn, and Johliinahr who were unable to repel the wave assaults and orbital bombardments of the Zealots.

With their main defensive line ruptured beyond recovery and their main fleets destroyed in constant heavy contact with the Zealots, and High command Fleets the Mohljaniir began to evacuate their colonies falling back to their heavily defended core worlds for a final stand.
Without any heavy warships to escort the large Evacuation convoys the Mohljaniir poured resources into a new type of Escort craft, fast, heavily armed and equipped with their best technology, these small ships were capable of engaging numerically superior raiders buying their convoys time to scatter and flee from the less advanced Zealot warships.

evacuation escort Pilots were among the boldest, and most determined in the remaining pool of pilots the Mohljaniir had to offer. Fighting with he motto " To The Death" painted on their craft as an open warning to any craft engaging them.

The Evacuation Escorts were complex and almost impossible to operate by a pilot not interfaced directly with the craft, even then the ships advanced engines, weapons, and electronic warfare systems required the pilot to be assisted by three cyborg "brains" fused directly into the ship.
These cyborg "brains were specifically engineered for superior reflexes,, reaction times, and exceptional ability to operate in a network with one another.

Mounting multiple rapid fire E-mag guns, missiles or torpedoes the Escort could slash through the slower largely obsolete formations of Najuhlim fighters and raiders often assigned to engage and destroy any ship attempting to evacuate a target colony.

During the Final evacuation of the Mohljaniir home world, the Evacuation transports fought a delaying action engaging dreadnoughts and battleships in a desperate last ditch effort to open a corridor for escaping transports.
Despite their efforts the vast majority of the Evacuation transports were destroyed,. Their efforts however did inflict crippling losses on the Najuhlim destroying a large number of cruisers, battleships and Dreadnoughts

The Pilot J'ohl Syfrae Survived the final stand and returned home to Valkiir space. His ship was badly damaged in the fighting and was subsequently broken down by Valkiir technical Intelligence in hopes of incorporating the Mohljaniir advanced systems into their own.
Unfortunately it was determined that Mohljaniir technology would be far to difficult to duplicate to allow it to be used on a large scale.

The ship was reassembled and at great expense restored to full operation status. It's cyborg crewmen given mobile chassis and granted full citizenship. Their descendants still serve in the Military of Hiehmdahl, piloting fast attack craft with the First Deep Space Interdiction fleet.

It is rumored that several of these craft made a final run toward earth. While most were reported destroyed, it is believed at least one craft and it's crew made successful contact with Humanity, transferring considerable technical intelligence on the Najuhlim to the governments of Earth, allowing them to develop technology, weapons, and tactics that were used during the first invasion of Earth by the Najuhlim.
It is unknown what actions were taken against the pilot and her crew by the O'sahdii for a blatant and deliberate breach of their quarantine on Pre-contact earth. But urban legend indicates the pilot and her crew were able to avoid punishment and integrated into the pre-contact population, participating in the defense of earth some twenty years later when the Najouhlim Fleet began it's attempt to "evict" humans from earth.
