Named For the odd whistling drone created by multiple pulsed gravitic lifters the Kolibri "hummingbird" drone is a standard weapon system of the Terran Alliance Executive Unified Defense Force (TAUDF), Allied military forces, and civilian self defense militias.

Lightly armored highly agile and armed for infantry support/suppression and light anti-vehicle attack the Kolibri is fielded in large numbers across human settled space. It serves in squadron strength numbers at the company level as a mobile force multiplier, patrol and scouting duty, and rear area security patrols.

By far one of the most numerous Drone used by the  TAUDF the  Kolibri is designed as a ass production unit with a modular systems and off the shelf civilian components used when ever possible. its leads to the  craft being rather fragile compared to other  combat  vehicles. However the  presence of 18-24 drones deployed at the  company  level gives the Kolibri the quality of quantity putting more agile hard  to hit vehicles in the air than the enemy can deal with without exposing themselves  to less numerous but heavier more robust designs.

Armed with a light machine gun and fully automatic belt fed grenade launcher as integrated weapons the Kolibri can carry heavy machine guns, tactical missile launchers, or other light vehicle weapons mounted on stub wings to boost its offensive capabilities.

To give additional flexibility to the squadron the bulk of the unit will be armed for infantry support with heavy machine guns and rocket pods, while a reserve detachment will be armed with tactical missiles for fast response anti vehicle engagements.

The  more lightly armed units will often harass and  delay enemy vehicles and armor while infantry use man portable anti-tank weapons, while the reserve force maneuver into position, or heavier armor and anti-tank assets are tasked with engaging the vehicles too heavy for standard infantry support weapons to effectively counter.
